This talk is based on my LRPS and ARPS print submissions, and explains how I went about producing my panel, and the role of RPS advice in this process.
The talk covers some basic technical details of taking the images, post processing, and printing. I also discuss the importance of a cohesive panel, and ideas on how to put a good panel together.
Working towards distinctions has (I think) helped improve my photography, and made me reflect on how an awareness of how images are perceived/critiqued by others has given me a better understanding of why I take photos. I will try and explain why I think this is all relevant to the ‘Statement of Intent’ required for ARPS submissions.
I hope that this talk will provoke some lively discussion!
